Each transition is identified by a transition label and a transition condition.
1. The transition label consists of the state designator of the state from which the transition is being
made, followed by the state designator of the state to which the transition is being made.
2. In some cases, the transition to enter or exit a state diagram may come from or go to a number
of state diagrams, depending on the command being executed.
