J.C. walked into his office and headed right for the black faculty rocking chair that he’d been given when he chose to leave the prestigious Darden Business School faculty at the University of Virginia. At age 33, Associate Professor John Cameron “J.C.” Williams had become one of the youngest associates at Darden and was enormously popular with faculty and students alike. In fact, his five years at the business school had been the most rewarding time in his short life.
