While CEO of Ford Motor Company and Boeing Commercial Airplanes, I had the honor to lead the work of hundreds of thousands of people and coordinate with our many stakeholders. I know firsthand how important it is for leaders to have humility. And it is going to be even more important for leaders of the future—and for our society of the future. That’s because, more than ever before, we need to be able to work together worldwide to maintain our quality of life and to resolve big, important global and local issues.
