ATTRACTING, DEVELOPING AND RETAINING TALENT
The employees – the talent – are the engine of organisations. When focusing on talent with an I&D lens, it is best to split it into three areas. Look at how your organisation
- ●attracts talent
- ●develops talent
- ●retains talent.
Your main partners in these three areas are the Chief People Officer (CPO), who manages the whole process, and other leaders who are likely to report into them, such as: Head of Talent, Head of Reward and Head of Leadership Development. These roles may be split even further, such as: Head of Talent Acquisition (the Attract component) and Head of Talent Management/Leadership and Development (the Develop and Retain components).
