Acknowledgments
Over 30 years ago I met David E. Stone at a Unitarian Universalist church. We were both sound professionals, and would run into each other over the years at various industry events in Hollywood. Eventually, we worked on our first film together: Predator. We eventually married, raised a son, worked on many films, published a newsletter, and eventually divorced. Dave illustrated the first edition of The Foley Grail and is back again, as illustrator for this edition as well. Dave and I share an irreverent sense of humor that we like to infuse into our work, regardless of its “loft” so his delightful cartoons are back, as he brings my playful interpretation of our industry to a visual rendering.
