In my many appearances as an AI speaker , I always make the point of explaining the difference between “intelligence ” and “cognition ,” the first one being a coefficient of mental ability, and the second, superior and infinitely more elegant, our ability to understand not just what is going on, or what something is, but to act upon it, to know what it is there to be done.
