I wrote this book with the understanding that a lot of people have gotten into financial trouble and despair with the way the economy has been going. Many people over the last several years have lost their jobs and their home and don’t know how to make ends meet. I, too, felt the crunch of the bad economy in my business as an art gallery owner. Since buying art is not on the top of the necessities list for people during financial hardships, my business suffered.
I had a lot of friends tell me I should teach others how I made my money both growing up and again in saving my business. This book is meant to be a resource for other people to have and learn from. I truly believe that if you follow the steps in this book, chapter by chapter, and start doing your research on becoming an expert in your own fields of items to buy and sell, you should be able to go to any garage sale, estate sale, storage unit auction or second hand store and feel comfortable looking at any of the items they have and be able to convert them into cold hard cash when you buy and flip them.
Please, after you’ve read all of the chapters, and when you feel like it’s time for you to go out on your own and start your new venture of becoming a Garage Sale Millionaire, don’t get caught up in the excitement of an auction or a sale and feel you have to buy things right away. Always do your research. Have fun. And good luck on your new journey to become a Garage Sale Millionaire.
