Before you begin your quest for treasure-hunting immortality, you’ll need some specific tools to ensure you have the best chance at success. By supplying yourself with the proper treasure-hunting tools from the start, you will be giving yourself the best opportunity to achieve financial success in your treasure-hunting activities.

Acquiring the right tools for your treasure-hunting adventures is simple. Let me start with a list of what you will need in order to venture off and make those great finds:

  • A fanny pack
  • A good magnifying glass (with at least 5X magnification)
  • Sturdy gloves (strong work-type)
  • White cotton gloves
  • A pen
  • A small note pad
  • A large, high-powered flashlight
  • Extending pole (on the end of which a mirror can be affixed)
  • Calculator
  • Padlock (combination or keyed)
  • Black light flashlight
  • A box cutter or sturdy knife
  • Magnet
