There are literally dozens of these books and articles. A lot of the articles appeared in journals that focused on the Internet economy—Wired, Fast Company, Industry Standard. Their bias is understandable, since they were halfway between business periodicals and special-interest publications. But similar articles appeared in Fortune and BusinessWeek.
