4 TYPES OF DELEGATION

Delegation’, as defined in the Oxford English Dictionary, is presented as a verb: ‘to delegate’, which is the act of entrusting a task or responsibility to another person, usually one more junior.

While this is of course correct, it doesn't really cover all that delegation is about. After all, one can delegate not just to a person but also to a process, system or, more spiritually, to a future point in time (let the universe decide!).
