Slow-Cooked Tomatoes with White Beans and Ouzo

Orzo and beans take on an entirely new dimension with the addition of a mixture of fresh herbs and the anise-like scent and flavor of ouzo.

1 pound (455 g) dried orzo

6 plum tomatoes, halved

Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling

1 teaspoon freshly cracked sea salt

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons (8 g) minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
