WBS DETAILS

A WBS dictionary is important in developing a WBS for a project. The government project manager must understand the appropriate level of detail for a WBS and know how to use the WBS to develop activities. This includes understanding the differences between inputs and outputs, as well the relationships to deliverables and intermediate outputs such as data (CDRL) items. Numbering and alternate WBS structures are also important.
