Introduction

Technology is so fundamentally altering the way work can be done that organizations are no longer restricted in the ways they conduct their business by fixed physical locations and working hours. Many organizations are reaping the financial benefits of internationalizing their operations by, for example, outsourcing call centres to parts of the developing world where labour costs are relatively low and skill levels high.
