Time-Line Model 1

In this chapter, a theoretical framework in the form of a time-line model of merger process is presented. This model is divided into four stages (as shown in Figure 7.1): before merger (merger considered but partners not identified), premerger (immediately before a planned merger), during merger, and postmerger. The model consists of different forms of coaching and mentoring discussed in Chapters 4 to 6, timing and intended outcomes of these interventions.
