Divide and Conquer (thinking tools 6–10)
Divide and Conquer is a set of five tools to address a difficult issue or an issue that has been scrutinised previously but without any meaningful success, and where some new ideas are needed. If the Islands of Opportunity toolset was used, it may end up covering the same ground as before, and so this toolset helps to leapfrog over the areas that have (most likely) already been covered to identify and interrogate new areas that have potential for success.
