When he got back to the office, Jeff found Bobby and Clare in Bobby's office. They were on a conference call, so he mouthed the words “come to my office when you're done.”
They nodded, and he left in search of anything that might add to his understanding of the problems at VB.
Stopping by the large break room and grabbing a Dr. Pepper from the fridge, he found a handful of administrative employees having a late lunch at one of the large round tables. Jeff had come to know them over the course of his first months on the job, and decided to learn what he could from them.
“Mind if I sit down with you?”
They invited Jeff to join them.
