Case Study 3: Improving Methods for Teaching Biology
A teacher of an introductory college-level biology course was interested in improving the methods she used in teaching the course. In particular she identified the module on cellular respiration and protein synthesis as difficult for the students. She decided to focus on this first and use what she learned to improve other topics in the course. She used the Model for Improvement to guide her efforts.
