Career Change on the Basis of Self-Evaluation
Student 26 made the most far reaching change in her lifestyle and choice of career as a result of studying her Rorschach findings. She changed from clinical psychology to medicine.
It is clear in reading her self-evaluation that she was becoming more and more aware of a basic lack of interest in the generalized concepts she was grappling with in her psychological training. From having felt herself to be dumber than her peers at this apparent failure, she was able to detect that her way of envisaging the world had assets which are more appropriate to factual knowledge and practical procedures.
