Most people aren't familiar with what a management psychologist does. Among other things, we help senior leaders make smart decisions about people. For example, before a company hires a senior executive, we are brought in to assess the top candidates and give a recommendation as to their fit with the company's leadership needs. Given the company's business strategy and operating culture, there are certain behavioral qualities that will make some people successful and others not.
