Chapter 7. The Communicative iPod touch

When Steve Jobs originally announced the iPhone he described it in three ways: a widescreen iPod, an Internet communications device, and a mobile phone. Remove that last description, and in many respects you have an iPod touch. It may not be able to make a phone call or receive SMS text messages, but with a Wi-Fi connection it can communicate with the outside world in impressive ways. In this chapter, I look at those ways.
