NARRATIVE ALIGNMENT

Getting the Most Out of Your Narratives

Up until now, I’ve treated the four kinds of narratives as separate entities, but they can become deeply intertwined. When the narratives’ creators do this in the right way, the intertwined narratives can significantly amplify and reinforce each other. But if they do it in the wrong way, their narratives can conflict with and undermine each other in ways that cause frustration and disappointment. Therefore, it is important to carefully avoid such misalignment.
