Both of my sons work in my business. Both had a very different pathway to working with me. Neither ever set out to be part of the business; life just happened, and here we were. There are many, many challenges to working with family and having family work for you. There are many, many wonderful things about working together, but just as many landmines to avoid. Hopefully, my experiences will help you think about or rethink hiring family.
