Having established the pattern of vibrations as visualised by Mr. Gann, we can now have a look at the same pattern as it was defined by Mr. Gurdjieff. It is more deeply hidden in Beelzebub’s Tales than it is in Tunnel, which is consistent with the fact that Mr. Gurdjieff was known to have made some of his important teachings as obscure as possible – a process that he called “burying the dog”1 – so that students had to work hard for their knowledge. ...
