The notepad was still on the patio table where Adam had left it, and Duncan’s handwritten note was still at the top. Adam was hoping that by now Duncan would have filled out the page with more detailed sketches of the rest of the project, or at least some specific questions about dimensions and materials. Instead, the page remained blank.
“Okay.” Adam said the word loud enough that Duncan looked up from his work.
