Companies that connect the dots know that the secret lies in managing the communication bombardment. That means they first have to understand the sources of the bombardment where all those cues, signals, signs, messages, and data come from. That way, they will know what to manage. They know there are three primary sources:
Leadership
Systems infrastructure
Formal communication media
