BRIAN AND TONYA’S LUNCH DILEMMA
Brian and Tonya Venuti were constantly
bickering about ways to put money aside
for a vacation to Rome. For some rea-
son, these discussions always seemed to
involve the packing of lunches.
The two of them required 40 lunches
each month. They calculated that
sandwich- and- drink cart stops and sit-
down lunch meetings averaged out to
$15 each, whereas lunches brought from
home averaged $5. The latter also tended to be both more nutritious
and more conducive to weight control, a priority for both.
