Building Tip
The secret to building in microscale is learning
what is needed to capture the iconic details of
your microscale LEGO model. Think of what you
are trying to build as basic shapes. For instance,
a car is pretty much a rectangle with abump on
top, and a house is a box with triangles on top.
Try to identify these basic shapes and add just
enough detail to make the model recognizable.
This is a scene
with Teknopop,
One of the
robots in
themovie.
That’s actuay not that many. For
one of the big robots, it takes
nine people to make him work.
Hehe, yes it is. Let’s
get moving before
they start roing.
Dude, that is a lot
of puetrs!
Whoa, he
has no
legs!
Not for this type of scene.
It’sa close-up where he has to
do a lot, and since you don’t
s the legs, we use this puet.
It takes a those people
to make him move?

Yes, it’s quite a
sight. This is the
cockpit set. It’s
on what we ca
a motion base.
It’s prey much a
flight simulator
with a movie set
on top.
Awesome.
What’s that big
grn thing?
That’s a grn scrn.
Weuse it when we have
to put in a special eect
later. In this case, outer
space wi be visible
through theship’s
windows.
Holy
cow!
