Building Tip
Slopes are good for
making scales or the
spikes on a dragon’s
back. Angled plates like
these red ones make
great wings.

Building Tip
Building dragons is fun. Focus on
iconic details like head shape, wing
size, body mass (skinny or fat), and
tail length. This will help to dene the
character of your dragon. There are
thousands of variations you can build.
Yes, lovely...
I’d love to
destroy it!
Heo, thank you for

LEGO Building System
Slopes
Use slopes for making roofs, scales for creatures, and any angled
edges.
Bows and Arches
Bows and arches add curves and gentle contours to your model.
Bricks
Standard LEGO bricks are great for the main structure of a model.
Three LEGO plates are one LEGO
brick high.
Five LEGO plates built sideways
have the same width as a brick
that is two studs wide.
The stud reversal technique lets
you build in opposite directions.
Plates and Tiles
Plates are a good way to give your model detail. Tiles create smooth,
stud-free surfaces for a sharp, clean look.
Jumper plates allow you to
“jump” one half stud out of
thenormal system.
Clips and Bars
Combine clips and bars to create hinges. Hinges allow you to build at
any angle on a model.
A LEGO bricks are
part of the LEGO
Building System. Every
piece is designed to fit
together in a consistent
and logicalway.
