You are getting ready to place the first anchor points on your lettering piece, but where should they be positioned? The answer to this question is simple: at the peaks. As for the tangents, they should be drawn vertically or horizontally, at both 0° and 90°. This is the basic principle of the vertex theory, also known as the Clockwork method.
