To the Headmaster of Selhurst School

March 16th, 1948

Blundell’s School, Near Tiverton, Devon

Dear Headmaster,

We would be very much privileged if you would care to come and preach a sermon at Blundell’s on Sunday May 23rd. You may remember meeting me some years ago at Leatherhead and I also believe that we met once with the Headmaster of Sutton Vallance. If you are able to do this perhaps you would let me know what train you would be likely to catch and I will, of course, arrange for a car to meet you. If you would care to bring your wife, we should be delighted to have you both to stay with us over the weekend. I am very much hoping that we shall see you.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

J. S. Carter
