You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.
"I don't think I'm going to enjoy myself working on this project," an employee told a friend. "We just finished up our first meeting, and the manager talked the whole time about teamwork."
"Then why are you so worried?" the friend asked.
"It wasn't what he said that disturbed me," the first one replied.
"It was those steel marbles he played with the whole time."
