There are discussions going on all the time about the different types of leadership. One week you will see in the paper how the best leaders, the ones who really get results, are those who come in with all guns blazing and turn around a situation really quickly—getting rid of the ‘dead wood’, restructuring, changing the systems and processes and so on. Others will say that, no, the best types of leaders are those who really care about people, who involve, support and encourage them.
