Chapter Summary
Where do we want to be? Coach Smitty and Coach Washington discuss the importance of having a single, cohesive vision for the team. If the team is pulling in different directions, they won't get far. But if everyone is giving their best effort at what is right in front of them, they can do something crazy like pulling a defunct truck 100 yards. Although Coach Smitty has not experienced racism directed at him, he can still empathize with his friend, who has experienced racism firsthand.

Champions go all in on their goals. They go all in on their team. Let's look at why that is and what can hold us back from going all in.
- Why should we go all in?
When we go all in, we accept the vision that our team leader has put out there. When we go all in, we find the strength to overcome any obstacle. When we're all in on the vision, that means we're all in on the team.
This matters because we can't achieve our team goals if we're holding something back. By saving that little bit of energy, we aren't reaching our full potential in the moment. This in turn keeps us from moving forward. It's an anchor that holds us back from reaching our goals and dreams.
