After reaching his office, Jack dropped his stack of papers onto his desk and flopped into his large, leather swivel chair. Sighing, he picked up his BlackBerry from his desk, discarded the pouch and checked for Jason’s reply – nothing.

Jack’s reply to Jason had a little clock symbol next to it, indicating that it was waiting to be sent. This was odd.
