Histograms

It takes practice to accurately judge your image on the LCD. Even with the monitor brightness turned down, the initial inclination is to believe the image is too bright. When viewing your first attempts back on the computer you’re likely to find them darker than you expected. The camera has a couple of features that can be used along with the monitor to help determine your exposure. The first feature is the histogram and the second is the overexposure warning.
