Recently, I was the keynote speaker at the Boston Evanta CHRO (Chief Human Resource Officer) Leadership Conference, where I had a dynamic conversation with global HR leaders on “How to Create a Solar System of Talent.” One of the CHROs told me that he thought employees were receiving monthly calls from headhunters regarding new opportunities. I suggested that the people in his organization were receiving calls daily! I then asked the leaders in the room to raise their hands if a headhunter had called them about a new opportunity within the last week.
