Static structure: any architectural structure that captures the fixed (i.e., nonbehavior)
aspects of the system.
Dynamic structure: any architectural structure that captures the behavior of the
system.
Once engineered, some system structures (such as the physical static aggregation decomposi-
tion structure) are so obvious that they seem to clearly and objectively exist in the system, regard-
less of whether they are modeled or documented via architecture representations. Each system has
