Task 9: Evaluate and
Accept the Architecture
14.1 Introduction
During this MFESA task, the architecture teams as well as other stakeholders evaluate the qual-
ity of the system or subsystem architecture so that architectural risks can be managed, compli-
ance with architecturally significant requirements can be determined, and the architecture can be
accepted by its authoritative stakeholders (Figure 14.1).
Note that this task and Task 2, Identify the Architectural Drivers, may be performed iteratively
and concurrently because architectural risks and opportunities identified during this task may
result in modifying or renegotiating
