A few years ago, a common question often asked of people in the business community was “Do you have a web page?” Back then, having a presence on the Web often meant having a single page or a small group of unrelated pages filled with trivial information.

Today websites are made up of much more than a single page. They frequently contain pages that interact with databases, forms that users can use to post messages or send messages to the website’s owner, and other interactive features.
