Looking at Noise in an Eyewitness Interview
In 2021, a fascinating podcast called On Our Watch (Dirks & Lewis, 2021) featured investigative audio recordings of interviews that gave true crime audiences amazing access to interrogations that were centered on misconduct by law enforcement officers. In Chapter 8 we discussed how interviewing people mindfully would lead to gathering evidence with integrity instead of considering them deceitful and switching to a format of interrogation.
