I always tell people that I have the best job ever: I get to study exceptional people and share what I learn. And while discussing this idea with a colleague a few weeks ago, he observed, “It seems like you have some sort of skill for finding these people and getting them to dissect their magic with you,” and I think that’s basically right. Whatever flaws I may have (of which, I can assure you, there are many), I’m really good at finding exceptional people to learn from and then sharing their tips, tricks, and tools with others. (And doing so is definitely part of my Personal Leadership Identity.)
