When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
As we progress through our lives, we meet people who have an impact on our lives. Sometimes the impact is negative, but those people who made a really positive impact are the ones that truly matter. In my life, the most positive impact has been from my wonderful, loving and supportive wife, Beverly. Why has she been the person who had had the most positive influence on my life? The answer to that question could fill many pages but let me zero-in on just a few very apparent things. Beverly has been the most supportive person I have ever met. Her unconditional love is beyond what I ever expected before I met her. When we first got married, back in 1968, I truly didn’t know what to expect from a wife.
