Introduction

There are two main requirements that must be met in order to achieve the status of CCSP; one must take and pass the certification exam and be able to demonstrate a minimum of five years of cumulative paid full-time information technology experience, of which three years must be in information security and one year in one of the six domains of the CCSP examination.
