CHAPTER 13How Does It Feel? Creating a Beneficial Partner Experience

If you are a creator or publisher looking to promote Walmart's hundreds of millions of products to your audiences, members, or customers, you may find it to be a daunting task. Where do you start and how do you locate what is likely to resonate best?

Walmart created DealFinder to address this challenge. Built on top of the company's partnership management platform, DealFinder is a simple widget that enables partners to easily search through Walmart's extensive inventory of products to find the best options for their audiences. Products include high-turnover items found in Walmart stores, more extensive holdings stored in its warehouses, and third-party seller items available through Walmart Marketplace. Filters allow partners to search Walmart's product catalog by category, product, new arrivals, best-sellers, clearance, exclusivity to Walmart, or theme—for example, Get Your Patio Summer-Ready, Gifts from the Heart, or Perfect Valentine's Day Presents for Everyone and Every Budget. Figure 13.1 shows how easy it is to search Walmart's inventory for televisions.
