In 2006, Rentokil returned to the acquisition trail in a major way for the first time since the BET deal a decade earlier. This time, however, the move was highly focused – in terms of both the geographical and business fields of operation. The target company was Pennsylvania-based family-owned pest control business JC Ehrlich, the fourth largest pest control company in North America.
