4 Portrait Walkthrough

The first thing to remember about portraits is that they’re still regular photos that need basic adjustments to tone and color. They just happen to contain one or more people as the main subjects. And for that, Luminar offers some extra tools.

You may also find yourself doing more correction using the Erase or Clone & Stamp tools to remove skin blemishes, dust or hair on clothing (which I swear always appears, no matter how much you brush before taking the photo), and to make other small fixes.

In this chapter, I’ll walk through two portraits: one that needs only a few edits and one that I’ve deliberately chosen precisely because it requires more work.
