This should be called “The Kevin Ames Chapter.” Actually, it really should be called the “I Hate Kevin Ames Chapter” because I already had this entire chapter written, until I stopped by Kevin’s studio in Atlanta one night to show him the rough draft of the book. What should have been a 15-minute visit went on until after midnight with him showing me some amazing portrait retouching tricks for the book. So I had to go back home and basically rewrite, update, and tweak the entire chapter. Which I can tell you, is no fun once you think a chapter is done and you’re about a week from deadline. ...
