Fixing Problems Caused by Your Camera’s Lens

Back in Elements 5, Adobe introduced a filter called the Correct Camera Distortion filter. It is pretty much a one-stop shop for repairing the most common problems caused by the camera’s lens, including pincushion and barrel distortion, horizontal and vertical perspective problems, and edge vignetting.

The first problem we’re going to tackle is perspective distortion. In the example shown here, I captured this photo with a 14–24mm lens, so the church looks like it’s leaning and all of the vertical walls appear at an angle.
