Who Pays the FairTax?
One thing that makes the FairTax unique is who it hypothetically taxes. Unlike the current tax system, whose bite some can avoid both illegally and legally, the FairTax system catches virtually everyone in its web. And while it hopefully doesn’t end up costing the average taxpayer any more than it already does, it does promise to create revenue from those who’ve otherwise dodged the taxman.
