The Choices and Consequences of Confrontational Behavior

You now know the reasons why you may not be confronting or why you may not be doing it well. You now have a better understanding of who you are as a confronter. This awareness is a positive step. But you also need to understand the consequences of confronting or not confronting others.

Once you understand how your relationships, self-esteem, and professional image—whether you serve on the PTA or are a CEO (or both)—can suffer when you don’t have positive confrontations, you will have a big incentive to learn and use Polite and Powerful behavior.
